| The
Benelux Railways Society was formed as The Netherlands Railway Society in 1992
after the layout Engeldrecht, based on NS practice, appeared as Railway of the
Month in the Continental Modeller. The Society aims to promote the study of
and interest in the railways and tramways of the Netherlands as well as the
other Benelux countries, past, present and future, both full size and model.
We are a friendly Society with members very willing to share their knowledge
with others. Our colour-magazine Nieuwsbrief is published quarterly, with news
of stock and infrastructure, review of books, videos and models, plus travel
