l Railion Class 232
Twelve Soviet built Class 232's began service with Railion from 2003 as a replacement for 10 Class 1600's which have gone to NS Reizigers. Most of their workings are between the Rotterdam ports and Germany via Venlo and Emmerich. Sme workings into Germany have 232 haulage throughout. Although class serviceability is little better than 50%, they are likely to remain in service for at least 5 years until they are replaced by Class 189 locomotives.
