The history of these units is complex. Known as 1954 stock and referred
to as Hondekop (dog head), these trains work turn about with 2
car units
of the same design. Unit numbers 711 - 741 were introduced as Plan F,
nos 742 - 757 were Plan G and nos. 768 - 786 were Plan P. All had buffet
cars but for some reason Plan F had 2 less seats in the B motor car. Units 1780-1791 have single arm pantographs wheras all others have diamond frame.
