NS Class 1300
The impressive looking 1300 class are based on the SNCF Alsthom-built CC-7100 Class which includes in its ranks CC-7107, the world record holder (205.6 mph attained in 1955) The NS 1300 duties are much less glamourous, being generally utilised for heavy freight work with only limited passenger diagrams. 1303 was cannabalised for the refurbishment of 1311. |

Unrefurbished example No 1311 at Den Haag Centaal. 1311 has diamond frame pantographs and carries the grey and yellow livery that was replaced by all over yellow on refurbished examples
